Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a TurboTax Local Service Expert to work on-site in Illinois, delivering full-service tax preparation and expert guidance to individuals and small businesses.

You will collaborate with a team of specialists to address diverse tax scenarios while growing a local client base and delivering end-to-end Intuit solutions. You will help clients maximize refunds, minimize liabilities, and plan for future taxes, while building long-term relationships and expanding the local

Qualifications

• Active PTIN required to file taxes
• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040s per season
• Experience with professional tax prep software
• Willing to upskill to additional service types with training by Intuit
• Comfortable working onsite 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Mon–Fri, 20+ hrs/week
• Willing to complete required training and development
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and appear in advertising
• Interest in building local and online TurboTax presence
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond filing

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparations for TurboTax clients across simple to complex scenarios
• Engage in discovery sessions to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and plan for future taxes
• Act as a local community ambassador to grow the TurboTax client base
• Develop client relationships and connect them with related Intuit services like bookkeeping or payroll
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences across in-person and virtual channels
