Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is hiring TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location in Illinois, serving in-person and virtual clients and delivering full-service tax return preparation with expert tax advice.

You will grow the local business, build relationships, and collaborate with the broader Intuit ecosystem to offer bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services while delivering a best-in-class customer experience.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory services with training.
• Must work onsite at a TurboTax office, ~20 hours weekly (8:00–17:00).
• Willing to complete required training and development.
• Uniforms provided; may be used for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online presence and content.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete TurboTax client returns.
• Support complex tax scenarios and maximize refunds.
• Lead discovery sessions and provide future tax planning.
• Act as community ambassador to grow local client base.
• Collaborate with Intuit ecosystem teams for cross-sell opportunities.
• Deliver a best-in-class client experience in person and virtually.
• Represent TurboTax in local events and outreach.
