Job summary

Intuit seeks motivated TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location across the United States, delivering full-service tax preparation, expert advice, and software support. You will collaborate with a broader team of specialists in business tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services to provide an end-to-end client experience.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 returns per season using professional software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, for at least 20 hours weekly.
• Must complete required training and development as determined by the business; uniforms provided.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert; create tax tips/content.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex personal and business tax scenarios.
• Identify deductions, reviews, and future planning; use government sites and team expertise to deliver accurate solutions.
• Build and grow a local client base; pursue outreach, networking, and partnerships with TurboTax marketing support.
• Connect clients to Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professionalism and empathy in person and virtually.
