Job summary

Intuit is seeking a TurboTax Local Service Expert to work onsite at a local TurboTax location, delivering tax preparation services and expert advice to individuals and businesses. You will collaborate across the broader Intuit ecosystem to connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services while building a strong local client base through outreach and community engagement.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 tax returns per season.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite, 20+ hours per week, hours 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Assist in connecting clients with the Intuit ecosystem for bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services.
• Act as a community ambassador to grow local TurboTax client base through outreach and events.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience, using video tools and in-person meetings as needed.
