Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to work onsite at a TurboTax location in the United States.

You will provide full-service tax return preparation, tax advice, and software support, collaborating with specialists across business tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services to deliver an end-to-end Intuit experience. The role emphasizes building a local client base, delivering exceptional customer service, and growing TurboTax’s presence in your community with marketing

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Willing to complete training and development as determined by the business; uniforms required.
• Willing to use your name and picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - Hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - Build and grow a new local customer base, organize local events and networking.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - Connect clients with Intuit solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Build Relationships - Develop long-term trust with clients in person and virtually.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - Ensure professional, helpful service and address tax questions.
