Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team at a U.S. TurboTax location.

You will provide hands-on tax advice, prepare returns, and collaborate with a team of experts to deliver end-to-end support. Onsite duties include client meetings, local outreach, and leveraging Intuit resources to grow the customer base. You’ll act as a community ambassador, develop relationships, and connect clients to bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning services.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software; Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and participate in advertising using your name/picture.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content for the community.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador, build a local client base through outreach and events.
• Champion the full Intuit ecosystem by connecting clients to bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning services.
• Build relationships and convert prospects into loyal, multi-year clients.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professional, personalized service.
