Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide on-site tax preparation and expert guidance at a local TurboTax location in the United States. You will work with clients in person and via digital tools to complete returns and advise on deductions, credits, and year-round planning.

You will collaborate with specialists in bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning to build long-term relationships, grow the local client base, and ensure a seamless end-to-end client experience.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season with professional software.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory services with training.
• Onsite availability 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local, 20 hours weekly; training may be required.
• Willing to wear uniforms and appear in advertising materials.
• English/Spanish bilingual skills a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond simple filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, from simple to complex situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador, growing the local TurboTax client base through outreach and partnerships.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Build relationships and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
• Interact with clients in person and via Intuit video tools; address tax-related inquiries.
