Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax - Local Service Experts to provide on-site tax preparation and expert advice for a diverse client base. You will work with a team of financial professionals and engage with clients in person and virtually, addressing simple to complex tax scenarios and driving year-round engagement.

The role emphasizes local community outreach, cross‑selling within the Intuit ecosystem, and delivering a best-in-class customer experience at TurboTax locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• Active EA/CPA or attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Have an active PTIN to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training by Intuit.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 20 hours/week minimum.
• Willing to complete required training and wear Intuit uniforms.
• Interest in building local/online presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, including complex tax situations.
• Build and grow a local client base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, or financial planning within the Intuit ecosystem.
• Develop deep understanding of clients' financial picture and coordinate with specialists.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences and assist with tax-related inquiries.
