Job summary

Intuit is hiring TurboTax Local Service Experts to perform on-site tax preparation, provide expert advice, and connect clients with the full Intuit ecosystem. You will engage with the community, grow your local client base, and deliver a seamless end-to-end TurboTax experience.

This role emphasizes in-person service, teamwork with specialists, and ongoing training to expand service offerings such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax prep experience and tax law knowledge preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040s using pro software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll or advisory services with training from Intuit.
• onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, for at least 20 hours/week.
• Willing to complete training and development; compliance training, cross-training and more.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert per policies.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, from simple to complex scenarios.
• Act as a community ambassador, growing local client base through outreach and partnerships.
• Bridge client needs to Intuit solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Build relationships to turn one-time clients into long-term customers.
• Deliver best-in-class customer experience with professional, client-focused service.
