Job summary

Intuit Careers in the United States is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to perform on-site tax preparation and advisory services at TurboTax locations. You will support clients in person and virtually, delivering end-to-end tax solutions while collaborating with a broader team of specialists.

Role focuses on providing accurate tax advice, growing a local client base, and connecting clients to Intuit’s ecosystem, including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning tools.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 returns with professional software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office, 20+ hours/week, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and prepare returns for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Grow local client base through outreach, grass-roots marketing, and partnerships.
• Connect clients with the Intuit ecosystem, including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning services.
• Build long-term relationships and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
• Assist clients in understanding and applying tax relief and credits.
