Job summary

Intuit seeks year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location, serving in-person and virtual clients with full-service tax return preparation and expert tax advice, helping customers navigate complex situations and maximize refunds while integrating with the broader Intuit ecosystem.

As a local ambassador, you will grow the client base through community outreach, events, and partnerships, turning engagements into lasting relationships, using Intuit marketing tools

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax prep experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 tax returns per season using professional software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training.
• Onsite at a TurboTax office, primarily 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, 20+ hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Grow the local client base through outreach, grass-roots marketing, referrals, and community partnerships.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions—bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma—to address needs.
• Build long-term relationships and deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professional, empathetic service.
