Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States, delivering expert tax advice and full-service preparation while coordinating with a broader team of specialists.

You will engage with local communities, grow TurboTax’s client base, and ensure a seamless, end-to-end experience for each customer using TurboTax products and services. This role emphasizes service excellence and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA or practicing attorney with tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state returns per tax season using professional tax software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 20+ hours per week.
• Must be willing to complete training as determined by the business and wear Intuit uniforms and use name for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Onsite presence within the United States and ability to engage with the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador, growing the local TurboTax client base and organizing local events.
• Assist clients by connecting them with Intuit ecosystem solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professionalism and tailored tax guidance.
