Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax preparation, expert tax advice, and software support at a local TurboTax location. You will serve both in-person and virtual clients, acting as a bridge to specialists in bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, and advisory services.

Responsibilities include building a local client base, organizing community events, and delivering a best-in-class customer experience while working onsite, typically 20+ hours per week.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• 3+ years filing 1040 returns (30+ per season) using professional software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or tax advisory with training.
• Willing to work onsite at a TurboTax office and meet typical business hours.
• Willing to complete required training and development and adhere to compliance requirements.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and participate in branding imagery.
• Interested in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Grow local TurboTax client base through outreach, grass-roots marketing, and community partnerships.
• Coordinate with team of specialists to deliver end-to-end Intuit experiences for clients.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and help clients achieve financial goals.
