Job summary

Intuit is hiring year‑round TurboTax Local Service Experts to serve customers at new TurboTax locations across the United States. You will provide tax expertise, complete returns, and help clients navigate complex situations, while actively building a local client base.

You will work onsite, participate in community events, and collaborate with TurboTax marketing tools to grow the local presence and cross‑sell Intuit solutions, including bookkeeping and payroll services.

Qualifications

• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state returns per season with professional software.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or business tax advisory with training.
• Onsite at TurboTax office 8:00–17:00 local time, 20+ hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax expertise and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Identify deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and offer future tax planning advice.
• Build local client base through outreach, events, and community partnerships.
• Represent TurboTax as a local face and drive growth via grassroots initiatives.
• Promote integration with Intuit ecosystem (bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning).

Skills

Enrolled Agent (EA) or CPA

PTIN holder

Tax preparation experience

Strong knowledge of tax laws
