Job summary

Intuit is seeking year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts to join new TurboTax locations across the United States. You’ll provide tax expertise, advise clients, and build a local client base through outreach and events.

This onsite role emphasizes community engagement, cross‑selling Intuit solutions, and delivering a best-in-class customer experience. A background in tax preparation with PTIN and active credentials is required; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software; Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and to use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - actively build and grow a new local customer base for TurboTax through outreach, grass-roots marketing, referrals and partnerships.
• Serve as the local face of TurboTax, converting new prospects into loyal, long-term clients.
• Organize and lead local events such as financial literacy workshops, community pop-ups, and networking gatherings with marketing support.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - connect clients with Intuit solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma.
• Build Relationships - develop long-term trust to turn transactions into ongoing client relationships.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - ensure professional, helpful service and guidance to help clients achieve financial goals.
• Interact with customers in-person and via Intuit video tools; address inquiries and tax-related challenges.
