Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking dynamic individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team. This on-site role blends tax preparation with advisory services, client education, and local growth initiatives within your community.

You will work with a team of tax professionals to deliver end-to-end TurboTax experiences, from discovery to final tax filings and future planning. The position emphasizes on-site attendance, strong tax knowledge, and the ability to grow a local client base while leveraging

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional tax software; familiar with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Mon–Fri, for at least 20 hours/week.
• Willing to complete all required training and development; compliance and cross-training may be required.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and may be photographed for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex scenarios.
• Act as a community ambassador to build a local customer base and drive growth with grass-roots marketing.
• Connect clients to Intuit ecosystem solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Build relationships and convert new prospects into long-term clients.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professional conduct and clear communication.
