Job summary

Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will perform on-site tax return preparation and advisory services for in-person and virtual clients, working in tandem with specialists across business tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory areas.

As a Local Service Expert, you will help clients navigate complex tax scenarios, expand the local customer base, and deliver a seamless end-to-end Intuit

Qualifications

• Active PTIN required.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 tax returns per season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or business tax advisory with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, for at least 20 hours per week.
• Must complete all required training and development.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and be represented in advertising.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Grow TurboTax’s local client base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Connect clients to Intuit ecosystem including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professional service and clear guidance.
