Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide on-site tax preparation and expert advice for personal and simple business returns. You will engage with clients in person at a TurboTax location and help grow the local community by building relationships and offering comprehensive tax services.

You will work closely with a network of tax and advisory professionals, expanding services such as bookkeeping, payroll, and planning to better serve clients year-round.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of paid experience preparing 1040s for 30+ federal/state returns per tax season using professional software.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training from Intuit.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling personal and business returns and amendments.
• Identify deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and offer tax planning guidance.
• Collaborate with specialists across the Intuit ecosystem to deliver a seamless end-to-end client experience.
