Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a motivated TurboTax Local Service Expert to join a local TurboTax office.

You will provide hands-on tax preparation and expert advice to individuals and small businesses, on-site and via virtual channels, collaborating with a broader team to deliver end-to-end client experiences. In addition to tax work, you will grow local TurboTax client base, build relationships, and participate in community events, while leveraging Intuit resources to help customers achieve positive

Qualifications

• Must hold EA, CPA, or be a practicing attorney with tax prep experience.
• Must have PTIN to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 returns per season using professional tax preparation software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory with training.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office location, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Mon-Fri, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must complete all required training and development; wear Intuit uniforms and allow use of name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus; experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Become the local face of TurboTax; identify and pursue prospects through outreach, grass-roots marketing, referrals, and community partnerships.
• Organize local events such as financial literacy workshops and networking gatherings with marketing support.
• Develop understanding of clients' complete financial picture and connect them with Intuit solutions.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience in-person and via Intuit video tools.
