Job summary

Intuit is seeking dedicated TurboTax Local Service Experts to prepare tax returns, give expert advice, and grow a local client base at TurboTax locations across the United States. You will work onsite, collaborate with specialists, and help clients navigate complex tax situations while promoting Intuit solutions.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes by law.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state returns per season using professional tax software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 20+ hours/week, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time.
• Must complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and allow use of name/picture for advertising.
• Interested in building local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, from simple to complex scenarios.
• Build and grow a local client base through community outreach and partnerships.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem services like bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Develop client relationships to convert one-time transactions into year-round engagements.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience in person and via digital tools.
