Job summary

Intuit Careers is seeking a TurboTax - Local Service Expert to perform full-service tax return preparation, provide expert tax advice, and support clients in-person and virtually at a local TurboTax location in the United States.

You will work alongside a team of tax professionals, connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning services, and help grow the local client base through community outreach and marketing support.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season with professional tax preparation software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must complete all required training and development as determined by the business; uniforms and advertising use required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax expertise and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Act as a proactive community ambassador to grow local TurboTax client base.
• Connect clients to Intuit ecosystem including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning services.
• Build relationships to convert one-time clients into long-term relationships.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience and assist with tax-related inquiries.
