Job summary

Intuit seeks a TurboTax - Local Service Expert to provide hands-on tax preparation, expert guidance, and software support at a local TurboTax location. You will engage with customers in person and virtually, help grow the local client base, and coordinate with a broad team of specialists to deliver end-to-end tax services.

The role emphasizes building trust, delivering personalized tax solutions, and expanding services like bookkeeping and payroll.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional tax software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• onsite presence at a TurboTax location for at least 20 hours/week, 8:00–17:00.
• Must complete training and development as required by the business.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and may be featured in marketing materials.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax expertise and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador to grow a local TurboTax client base.
• Champion the full Intuit ecosystem by connecting clients to bookkeeping, payroll, or financial planning services.
• Build relationships to turn one-time transactions into long-term client engagements.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professional service and clear guidance.
