Job summary

Intuit is seeking year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts for new TurboTax locations across the United States. You’ll provide tax expertise, connect with the community, and be the local face of TurboTax, helping customers maximize refunds and plan for future taxes.

Onsite, you’ll work a minimum of 20 hours per week, typically 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday. The role includes outreach, events, and cross‑selling Intuit solutions; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; uniforms and training

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, Mon–Fri, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise: give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients.
• Handle simple to complex tax situations and provide future tax planning advice.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador and grow a local customer base.
• Organize local events such as financial literacy workshops and networking gatherings.
• Build relationships by connecting clients with Intuit solutions like bookkeeping and payroll.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience in-person and via video tools.
