Job summary

Intuit seeks year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts to join our new TurboTax locations across the United States. You will provide hands-on tax advice, complete preparation, and help clients optimize deductions while delivering a trusted, local advisory experience.

Onsite role, 20+ hours weekly, Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time; training provided; uniforms; opportunities to grow into bookkeeping, payroll, and other Intuit services; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willingness to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and allow advertising with your name/picture.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content for your community.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - actively build and grow a new local customer base through outreach, grass-roots marketing, referrals, and partnerships.
• Organize and lead local events such as financial literacy workshops and networking gatherings with marketing support from TurboTax.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - connect clients with Intuit solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma.
• Build Relationships - develop long-term trust to turn transactions into ongoing client relationships.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - provide a professional, helpful service and excellent client support.
