Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to work onsite at local TurboTax offices. You will provide expert tax preparation and advice for personal and business needs, while growing the local client base and coordinating with a broad Intuit team for end-to-end support.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Willing to complete all required training and development; training requirements may change.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and be used for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex scenarios.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - grow a local client base through outreach and events.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning and other services.
• Build Relationships - foster long-term trust with clients.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - ensure professional, helpful service across in-person and virtual channels.
