Job summary

Intuit Inc. seeks dedicated TurboTax Local Service Experts to join new onsite locations across the United States.

You will provide hands-on tax preparation and expert advice while building local client relationships and driving community engagement. You’ll work in-person and virtually, collaborating with specialists in business tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning to deliver a seamless client experience.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including compliance training, up-skilling, cross-training of other products, and professional development.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and use your name for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content for your community.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - Build and grow a new local customer base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - Connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, and Credit Karma.
• Build Relationships - Develop long-term trust and ongoing client engagement.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - Ensure professional service, via in-person and video tools, addressing tax inquiries.
