Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is hiring TurboTax - Local Service Experts to work onsite at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide full-service tax return preparation, tax advice, and software support, while growing a local client base and collaborating with a nationwide team.

You will help clients navigate personal and business taxes, upskill into related services, and engage with the community through events and partnerships, delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and use your name for advertising
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - Act as the local face of TurboTax and grow a local client base through outreach and partnerships.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - Connect clients with Intuit solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, planning or Credit Karma.
• Build Relationships - Develop long-term trust to convert transactions into ongoing client relationships.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - Ensure professional, helpful service and guidance to clients in-person and via video tools.
