Job summary

Intuit seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide tax expertise and complete tax preparation for clients, onsite at a TurboTax location. You will collaborate with a team of specialists, expand the local client base, and guide clients through the full Intuit ecosystem to support year-round financial needs.

You will engage with customers in person and virtually, delivering personalized tax advice, planning, and service while growing your local presence and ensuring an exceptional customer

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional tax software (Circular 230 familiarity).
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory).
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Mon–Fri, at least 20 hours/week.
• Willing to complete all required training and wear Intuit uniforms.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax expertise and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex scenarios.
• Be a proactive community ambassador to grow a local client base.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions (bookkeeping, payroll, planning).
• Build relationships to turn transactions into long-term clients.
• Deliver best-in-class customer experience in person and via video tools.
