Job summary

Intuit is seeking highly motivated TurboTax Local Service Experts to join our on-site teams across the United States. You will provide full-service tax preparation, offer expert advice, and collaborate with specialists to deliver end-to-end Intuit experiences for individuals and small businesses.

You will build relationships in the local community, grow the client base, and help clients navigate complex tax scenarios while leveraging Intuit resources and marketing support for ongoing success.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 returns per season using professional software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local, 20 hours/week minimum.
• Willing to complete required training and wear Intuit uniforms; use name for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients across personal and business tax scenarios.
• Perform discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and optimize refunds.
• Coordinate with specialists to deliver end-to-end solutions while maintaining a seamless client experience.
• Grow local client base through outreach, events, and partnerships with marketing support.
• Act as a trusted guide, linking clients to bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services as needed.
• Deliver best-in-class service with empathy and professional conduct onsite and virtually.
