Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Must be able to read and speak English per FMCSA requirements.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements may be required.
• Must pass FMCSA medical, road tests and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer to transport freight in compliance with laws and safety rules.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company policies; maintain proper records.
• Perform dock loading/unloading and assist as needed.
• May drive various schedules and may be assigned to on-call routes.
