Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines in Kokomo, IN seeks a professional CDL driver to operate tractor-trailers and safely transport freight in compliance with FMCSA regulations. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, handle loading/unloading as needed, maintain accurate records, and uphold safety and security of equipment and cargo.

Candidates must hold a valid Class A CDL, be at least 21, reside within 75 miles of the Service Center, and meet all licensing, drug testing, and English language

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Provide acceptable MVR and comply with FMCSA rules.
• Able to operate a tractor-trailer across diverse terrains.
• Able to meet English reading/speaking requirements per FMCSA.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer to transport freight in compliance with laws.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety.
• Maintain records per local, state and federal regulations.
• Load/unload freight at customer sites as needed.
• Adhere to FMCSA, safety policies and company procedures.
