Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• 21 years of age with 1 year driving experience required.
• Must possess valid Class A CDL.
• Must be registered with FMCSA Drug Clearinghouse.
• Must reside within 75 miles of domiciled Service Center/work assignment.
• Hazmat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.
• Able to drive tractor trailer per FMCSA requirements.
• Stable employment history preferred.
• Able to operate a forklift (7500 lb).
• Able to lift 70 lbs or more as needed.
• Must pass FMCSA medical exam and road test.
• Must meet FMCSA English reading/speaking requirements.
• Able to drive in all routes and terrain; various weather conditions.
• Able to comply with company policies and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate all types of equipment to perform safety functions.
• Drive tractor/trailer for freight transport under FMCSA regulations.
• Maintain records and comply with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Provide safe and courteous service to customers.
• Handle local pickups, deliveries, dock work and loading/unloading as needed.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Use in-cab technology and electronic logs if required.
• May work different schedules including over-the-road runs as needed.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
