Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking a Class A CDL driver to safely transport freight across diverse routes. You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain compliance with FMCSA rules, and securely handle hazardous materials where required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.
• FMCSA medical exam and drug testing compliance.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and meet FMCSA requirements.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the Service Center and/or work assignment.
• Must pass road test and have acceptable MVR.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer to safely transport freight in compliance with FMCSA rules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Maintain required records and report maintenance needs.
• Adhere to hazardous materials handling requirements.
• Inspect and secure cargo and equipment; assist with dock duties as needed.
• Drive across varied schedules, terrains, and environmental conditions.
• Work with Fleet Services and supervision as required.
