Job summary

Estes Express is seeking a qualified driver to operate tractor/trailer units in accordance with all applicable laws and company policies. The role includes safety-focused driving, documentation, and occasional dock work.

You will be responsible for safe handling of freight, including hazardous materials, and for keeping accurate trip records and compliance with FMCSA rules. The position requires a valid Class A CDL with HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements, and the ability to meet FMCSA

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.
• Must comply with FMCSA regulations and CDL requirements.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center or work assignment.

Responsibilities

• Operate all types of equipment safely to perform required functions.
• Drive tractor/trailer in compliance with FMCSA and other regulations.
• Maintain required records and safe transportation of hazardous materials.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Complete dock loading/unloading as required and provide courteous service to customers.
• Work with safety, fleet services and supervision to resolve issues and ensure on-time delivery.
