Mesilla Valley Transportation in El Paso, TX is hiring a Local Pickup and Delivery Clerk to support the Local P&D department by verifying documents for all loads in the El Paso yard. The role emphasizes accuracy in order matching and timely communication with carriers and internal teams.

You will review inbound loads, process T-Calls, scan bills, and report issues, while maintaining files and generating daily updates for deliveries.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Basic knowledge of motor carrier operations and geography.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsabilités

Join the MVT family!!! Mesilla Valley Transportation is hiring Local Pickup and Delivery Clerk in El Paso, TX! The Local P&D Clerk is responsible for supporting the Local P&D department with verification of documents for all loads in the El Paso yard.

Responsibilities:

• Review all inbound loads to ensure all information matches the order information.
• Process and T-Call all loads brought in by foreign carriers.
• Scan all bills that arrive and with associated order number.
• Document and report any issues with order or trailer discrepancies to the appropriate teams.
• File all envelopes in the appropriate area.
• Send daily emails on local deliveries with pending appointments.

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, or listen.

• This position requires frequent manual dexterity in combination with eye/hand coordination such as keyboarding.
• Will have repetitive hand motions and prolonged periods of sitting.
• Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

Work Environment:

• Mostly an indoor office environment.
• Employees must use computers, telephones, and other office equipment to perform duties.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
