Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver to work on a local route with home daily schedules. This position offers night driving, paid bonuses, and consistent miles (approx 2,000 miles/week) delivering to Chicago and back from Indianapolis.

Requirements include Valid Class A CDL, at least 3 months CDL experience, clean driving record, DOT Medical Card, and Hazmat endorsement within 60 days (reimbursed after endorsement).

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 3 months verifiable CDL experience.
• Clean driving record and DOT Medical Card.
• Hazmat endorsement required within 60 days (reimbursed after endorsement).

Responsibilities

• Run to Chicago and back daily on a local intermodal route.
• Operate within a 100-mile radius of Indianapolis as needed.
• Report to the Indianapolis terminal daily for dispatch.
• Start and end at the Indianapolis terminal; no equipment take-home.
• Approximately 2,000 miles per week with night driving.
• 75% drop & hook freight; night schedule with home daily.
