Salt City Trucking is hiring a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver to earn $80,000–$88,000 average annual gross pay with home daily schedules and consistent Sunday–Thursday routes. You’ll handle local intermodal freight with daily Chicago runs and 1,900 miles per week.

The role features a $5,000 bonus, hazmat eligible, and pay details including $56 live load/unload, $28 drop/hook, and $15/hour for rail delays. Start times vary; night and day shifts available.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 3 months truck driving experience.
• Clean driving record required.
• DOT Medical Card required.
• Hazmat endorsement required within 60 days; reimbursement available.

Responsibilities

• Local intermodal freight with daily Chicago runs.
• Container pickup and delivery between customers and rail yard.
• Day shift: ~60% drop/hook, 40% live; Night shift: ~80% drop/hook, 20% live.
