Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver for a home daily role with a Monday-Friday schedule. Earn an average annual gross pay of $75,000, with a $10,000 bonus and numerous pay add-ons such as per-load incentives and ramp training. The position offers 100% no-touch freight and daily runs to Chicago rail yards.

Starting pay is posted as $0.48 CPM with annual raises up to $0.55 CPM. Hazmat endorsement is required within 90 days of hire, with reimbursement for the endorsement.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 3 months truck driving experience.
• Clean driving record.
• DOT Medical Card.
• Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire.
• No SAP drivers.
• No smoking inside the truck.

Responsibilities

• 100% no-touch intermodal freight.
• Daily runs to Chicago rail yards.
• Approximately 1,500 miles/week.
• Approximately 80% drop/hook and 20% live load.
• Hazmat endorsement required within 90 days; reimbursement available.
• Potential shift transfer after 6 months.
