Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver for a home-daily schedule on a Chicago-bound intermodal route with drop-and-hook freight. Earn $87,000 average annual pay and a $10,000 bonus, with about 2,000 miles per week.

You'll report to the Indianapolis terminal for dispatch, run within 100 miles of Indianapolis as needed, and work a night schedule (Fri-Tue, 9 PM start) with home daily. No equipment tak e-home, no smoking, and no passengers.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• DOT Medical Card is required.
• Hazmat endorsement required within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Run to Chicago and back daily.
• Local work within a 100-mile radius of Indianapolis as needed.
• Report to the Indianapolis terminal daily for dispatch and truck assignment.
• Start and end at the Indianapolis terminal.
• No equipment take-home
• No smoking in trucks
• No passengers
