Job summary

SumUp seeks experienced field sales professionals to join as self-employed, commission-only consultants. You will travel within your local territory to meet business owners, demonstrate SumUp solutions, and close deals.

Qualifications

• At least one year of field sales experience in relevant sectors.
• Experience cold prospecting and approaching businesses face-to-face.
• Proven ability to sell to small/medium businesses and engage with owners or decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Find new customers through face-to-face visits, door-to-door prospecting, and direct outreach.
• Focus on local businesses with strong payment volumes that can benefit from SumUp products.
• Ask questions about how each business works and recommend suitable payment, card-processing, hardware, POS and software solutions.
• Manage the sale from the first conversation through demonstrations, objections and closing.
• Help customers get set up and start using SumUp products.
• Build relationships with business owners and seek referrals.
• Plan visits and follow-ups to maximize territory coverage.
• Keep CRM records up to date and track activity, pipeline and sales results.
• Review progress with the Territory Manager and implement feedback.
