Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc in Kailua, HI seeks an experienced Delivery Driver to run daily routes, load and unload products, and deliver to customers following the route order designated by the Transportation Department Manager.

You will assist with loading pallets, operate hand trucks, verify deliveries, collect signatures, and adhere to DOT regulations and Sysco safety policies. A valid driver's license and 1 year route experience are required.

Qualifications

• One year route delivery experience or driving a straight truck.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must be able to read and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload product from trailer and place in designated customer storage areas; transport on/off hand carts.
• Verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures; communicate errors/returns to management.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT regulations and Sysco policies.
