Job summary

Sysco is hiring for a driver to run daily routes with frequent stops, loading and unloading products, and delivering to customer locations. You will manage hand-trucks, verify deliveries with customers, and perform routine safety inspections.

Responsibilities include meeting route times, assisting with loading occasionally, and following DOT regulations and Sysco policies. A Class B CDL and good English communication are required.

Qualifications

• One-year route delivery experience or applicable background driving a straight truck.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License - Class B (Class A preferred).
• English language proficiency to converse with customers and complete reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload product from trailer, by hand or with a hand cart, to designated customer storage areas.
• Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures; communicate errors.
• Follow driver safety rules and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT and Sysco policies.
