Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a driver to deliver daily routes with loading/unloading duties and frequent customer interactions. You will operate a truck through varied conditions, verify deliveries, and maintain safety standards per DOT and Sysco policies.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, route efficiency, and handling potential discrepancies with orders while maintaining professionalism and reliability in all weather and traffic conditions.

Qualifications

• One year route delivery experience or applicable background driving a straight truck.
• Valid Driver's License
• Must be able to read and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload product from trailer by hand or hand cart to customer storage areas; navigate ramps, stairs, or docks.
• Lift or move 1–75 lb (up to 100 lb); stack/unstack pallets; bend and twist during loading/unloading.
• Verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures; escalate invoice discrepancies and communicate returns.
• Handle customer complaints professionally.
• Follow safety rules; perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT and Sysco policies.
