Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking a route delivery driver to operate daily routes, loading and unloading products at customer sites. You will work in a cross-dock model, loading nightly deliveries and returning empty trucks to the lot, with potential occasional loading assistance.

The role requires at least one year of delivery experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to read and understand English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year route delivery experience or similar driving a straight truck.
• Must be able to read and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Run routes efficiently and meet or exceed designated route times.
• Unload product from trailer and place in customer storage areas.
• Verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures; communicate discrepancies.
• Follow DOT safety rules and Sysco policies; perform pre-trip inspection.
