Job summary

Sysco Buckhead Meat Company is seeking a delivery driver to run daily routes, unload products, and ensure timely deliveries to customers. You will load/unload, handle pallets, and verify orders at each stop while maintaining safety standards.

Applicants should have at least one year of route delivery experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to operate under DOT regulations. CDL is preferred. This role offers steady full-time work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of route delivery experience or related driving a straight truck.
• CDL preferred (if applicable) and ability to read/speak English well.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart, and place in designated customer storage areas; may transport on ramps/stairs/docks in all weather.
• Frequently lift/move product weighing 1–75 lbs, up to 100 lbs; stack/unstack pallets with a hand cart.
• Verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures.
• Communicate invoice discrepancies to management and document errors/returns.
• Call when a customer does not receive the full order (shorts).
• Handle customer complaints professionally.
• Operate company equipment safely; perform pre-trip inspections per DOT and Sysco policies.
