Job summary

Buckhead Meat Company is seeking a local delivery truck driver to operate straight trucks on daily routes with frequent customer stops. You will load and unload products, verify deliveries, and ensure accurate signatures while complying with DOT regulations and Sysco safety policies.

The role requires physical capability to lift up to 50-80 lbs, basic arithmetic for cash handling, and strong customer relations skills. CDL is preferred; 21+ and clean driving history are expected.

Responsibilities

• Run daily routes with frequent stops and unload products.

• Verify deliveries and obtain customer signatures; report discrepancies.
• Communicate errors/returns to management; handle customer complaints professionally.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in line with DOT and Sysco policies.
