Job summary

Buckhead & Newport Meat and Seafood is seeking a professional Delivery Driver to run daily routes, load and unload products using hand carts, and ensure accurate deliveries with customers. You will operate in a cross-dock environment and must follow DOT rules and company procedures.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, strong English communication, and the ability to lift heavy loads. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for routes and reports.
• Capable of lifting 40–60 pounds and up to 100 pounds repeatedly.
• Overtime, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times
• Unload product from trailer by hand or hand cart.
• Move products weighing up to 75 pounds and stack pallets as needed.
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures; address invoice discrepancies.
• Communicate errors/returns to management.
• Handle shipments and operate company equipment per safety rules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations.
