Job summary

Buckhead & Newport Meat and Seafood is seeking a dedicated driver to manage daily route deliveries. You will load, transport, and unload products, verifying items with customers and capturing signatures. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and DOT regulations.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and a valid CDL Class B license. Prior route experience is preferred, with the ability to lift heavy items and work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of route delivery experience preferred.
• Valid CDL – Class B license; Class A preferred.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for safety and records.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for programs and projects.
• Run routes efficiently and meet or beat designated times.
• Unload product from trailers and move to storage areas with hand carts.
• Lift up to 75 lbs, climb stairs or ramps, and stack pallets as needed.
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures; address discrepancies.
• Follow DOT safety rules and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
