Job summary

Sysco is recruiting a delivery driver for daily routes, loading and unloading product at stops, and maintaining accuracy with deliveries. You will navigate loading docks, assist with palletizing and handling items up to 75 pounds, and communicate clearly with customers.

The role requires a valid driver's license, at least 1 year of route delivery experience, and the ability to read and understand English. High school diploma or GED is required. Benefits are available.

Qualifications

• High School or GED or equivalent.
• One year route delivery experience or background driving a straight truck.
• Must be able to read and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload product from trailer, by hand or using hand cart, and place in designated customer storage areas.
• Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations and Sysco policies.
