Job summary

Qualifications

• High School or GED or equivalent required.
• One year of route delivery experience or driving a straight truck preferred.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License – Class B; Class A preferred.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently to converse, understand highway signs, and complete reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding route times.
• Unload product from trailer and place in designated areas; load pallets as needed.
• Lift and move product up to 75 pounds, up to 100 pounds; stack pallets.
• Verify deliveries and obtain signatures; communicate errors/returns.
• Handle customer calls for missing items and complaints professionally.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT and Sysco policies.
